Even after the invention of the printing press, hand written wedding cards were still preferred because of the problem of ink smudging, and the ink was simply stamped onto the paper and was not very appealing. To solve this problem, a piece of tissue paper is placed over the print, a technique that is still used today.
One of the advantages of such an invitation card is that it will be a unique one. This is of course because you have put your photos onto the card. Your photos are making the card unique. Others will not be able to copy the design of your card since they will not use a card with photos of other people.
