Since you don’t have a lot of room for many words on your Save the Dates, it’s best to keep it short and sweet. Since it’s just a gesture to let your guests know when your wedding is, all you have to include is you and your fiancé’s name, the wedding date and that’s all!
Save the date cards may not sound necessary, but they are usually will also remind people that you thought about them, and that you want them to be part of the few who are dear to you- people you want to be present in this once-in-a-lifetime moment in your life as a couple.
At this point any additional information that seems pertinent even if it is rather small as you can include places to park, the time frame of the event and any special activities that you want to include as well. It is the little things that help people remember your wedding date so that they will show up and participate.
Save the Date cards are always sent before the actual wedding invites and don’t have to be as formal as regular invites. They can be elaborate or simple and the best part is that you can get super creative when making them. And with so many ways to do them, you’ll be able to find options that will fit your wedding budget.
